USGBC Upstate event
Hi all,
I was asked to pass this along to any interested committee members. Below is the email I received:
Both Sunnking Electronics Recycling and the Upstate Green Business Network would like to invite you to our combined Green Drinks! /Recycling Event on Thursday July 23rd from 6‐8pm at Sunnking’s Brockport location (4 Owens Road.) Come enjoy this opportunity to recycle and mingle with our ever‐growing network of like‐minded individuals, all while tasting local food and beverages, and listening to live entertainment! Please feel free to invite friends and colleagues who may be interested in this free event, as we are continually seeking new members and participants! Keynote speakers will be at the event, discussing local efforts and exciting environmental programs available to our community. The CEI (Center for Environmental Information) would like to take this opportunity to share with you a wealth of information regarding their current and future programs. This local, 30 year‐old non‐profit organization has both existing and future programs designed to improve the ways in which we impact our environment, through facilitation between local volunteers, local businesses and local government. We encourage you to bring any old or used electronic equipment with you to the event and recycle it free of charge! We prefer that you please RSVP at www.sunnking.com. Any further questions, please call Sunnking at 585‐637‐8365. Thank you and we hope to see you there! Sincerely, Kimie Romeo Environmental Coordinator Sunnking Electronic Recycling
I will be out of the District and unable to attend (I'm going to Disney World). If someone does decide to go please bring back information to the subcommittee. Thanks.
Adam

Energy Efficiency
My name is Jake Smith and I graduated from Hilton in 2003. I work for an energy efficiency company called E-cubed consulting which stands for energy efficiency experts. We are here to reduce emissions and energy costs for schools and businesses in the Greater Rochester area. At the next meeting I would like to give everyone some insight on future plans of going green. We offer products that will lower energy costs and save the school and tax payers money. In turn we will feature you on our website as a local institution that is "Green". Please have questions for me and I look forward to meeting everyone soon.
